Of Things and things

I'm in the computer lab now, dying of boredom without my bookmarks, waiting to go to my psych experiments.

My tagboard is DEAD! I am quite horrified actually. The popups I'm getting are really a nuisance. This is a major sign that I should be moving my blog somewhere else. I love livejournal! Yes, will do something about my pathetic blog at the end of the year. I really find my layout disgusting but I can't be bothered to change it.

Yesterday was probably one of the most exciting days of my life. Volunteering at the home- meeting the two girls, getting to know one wonderfully endearing boy called Roger and being stumped by a primary school maths question. I am SO glad I have left those mathematics days behind. The highlight though, was RJ staying over at my place. Horrors, I tell you. But as she likes to say, Respect Please. So yeah, I love you muchly, nothing to do with respect eh.

I kind of like girly times like these. Although I cannot wait for friday as well:)

There are so many things I want to do, really. I am determined to learn photography. And now, I am inspired to be a Revolutionary Singaporean Film Director/Producer/Scriptwriter. I think local films have a kind of charm, that has nothing to do with the quality of the movie really. It's just the rawness of things that intrigue and fascinate me tremendously- those untrimmed edges. (But goodness knows how much editing they did.)

How can youths not have any vision or dreams for their lives? I think learning and being in uni has made me more aware of what I want- the kind of initial direction I want to head to. Things do change, I admit, but that's the fun thing about life.

I think this is going to be a long entry since I have nothing to do in the comp lab.

Where were we? Right- dreams. I hope RJ and Crys won't forget our goal to start a shop. I really think someone should bring Anthropologie to Singapore! Anyway entrepreneurs inspire me too:) I love watching this chinese program about Singaporean entrepreneurs (called Flying Something-or-other in english). It makes me oddly happy.

Today, my TS friend drew the F word on my other friend's palm. It's supposed to be his idea of funny, but I kinda find it beautiful. It gave me an idea of a scene I'll put in my movie, if I ever create one.

It's been a jumbled up day, but it's friday tomorrow! I'm broke, but excited.

Lalala.
