dreams dreams dreeeammms, or so the song goes

I love tags! Yay, and to xinpei: the geog texts are still with me! Haha. We are The Forgetful Bunch.

My inbox is flooded with junk. I profess, it's junk that I actually signed up for. Like some poetry thingum that sends you nice poems everyday. And some Oprah inspiration nonsense that I'm too lazy to sign out of. And a Christian newsletter, and other randomness that appear in my inbox once in a while. Because I have not deleted any of them since X months, you can just imagine the amount of JUNK I have in there.

I am sure you don't wanna read some nonsense about my nonsense junk. Haha.

I am glad with my new work actually. People come and visit me once in a while. Thanks sminty! I've seen Ellen (!!!) and TianYing and Yanling (thanks babe:)) and some pri sch girl and nj arts pple too.

Working there has made me reconsider my dreams or lack thereof. I see my relative quitting his job to pursue this enterprise, struggling but always optimistic. Energy just bubbling in him when it comes to selling his products. I just don't understand. Well, maybe it's because that is not my baby. Haha.

I seriously, after thinking seriously, have no serious dreams. Like being a (insert profession). I think I would like to set up this bookstore cafe, really whimsical and ecletic and comfy and not at all intimidating, as some pseudo-intellectual places are. And, and and and and, it would be in a shophouse. I would wanna live in a shophouse! It's beautiful beyond words. Drool. With ceiling fans! Ceiling fans are a must. And bursting with cheap books. With coffee beans roasting in the kitchen, I demand that everyone be on a caffeine high!

Now, I recall this conversation with Silin at kenny rogers, about having our own cupcake shop. Like those in New York, lovely man. Gimme icing sugar anyday. We just need some secret recipe and fab bakers. Haha.

Really, my dream job would be working with books, and pastries and dessert and coffee.

But I think, it's gonna be toughhh. I don't want to deal with insects and little cockroaches in my kitchen. And leaking taps.

Ohwell, am blissful beyond words now anyway. Sometimes its nice to have this one small dream, untouched by reality:)

P/s. Polling day tmr! I think politics is not my cup of tea, sometimes it gets so ugly and childish, it makes me cringe. FOCUS people FOCUS. Haha.
