These are a few of my favourite things

This is not a list of my favourite things! A list of updates, a condensed version of today and tomorrow, whoopees:

1. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to Educating Rita tomorrow!!! My very first play (not considering the weirdish one I had to watch for some sec sch review). I'm so so uber excited!!! Thanks to my fave person of the moment for getting the tics:)

2. Spent some sista moments at Ikea and Queenstown today. Had delicious poached salmon and the very-missed swedish meatballs. Yummy! And the cheap but very delish macs softcone:) Collected deco ideas for my room too, and lots of other nice yummy wants.

3. For #1, I got a nice loongish blue skirt. Two firsts for my wadrobe: Long skirt and blue:)

4. I got a freakin electric mixer!!!! I am BOUNCING with baking recipes and to-dos. I can FINALLY bake proper, no more cookies and brownies. Be prepared for greater things from me:) I can't wait to bring homemade breakfast goodies to the company comrades. Haha.

5. Spent lunch at library@orchard today and saw Mel from A03. She's working at a film company. How cool is that! *drools* I got a Donna Hay cookbook (hurray) and Long Day's Journey Into The Night from Eugene O'Neill(which I wanted to read for ages) and a book about how to read better. Haha.

6. Some work entertainment. Hannah and I call ourselves the style stalkers shamelessly because we entertain ourselves with observing this particular girl's outfits everyday, rating out of five stars. (Today it's three and a half from hannah, one from me and zero from my sis. One of the worser outfits.)Haha. She's our fashion inspiration. Heh. Cos we SO need stuff to get us excited about work.

7. Friday's the release of the O's results, if you haven't heard already. I feel so so frightened and jittery for my sis and the rest. All the best kiddos! And for the A's? Sigh. Dunwannathinkaboutit. Hopeforthebest. God only gives us the best.

I love my day. I feel so blissful:) Sharing mp3s with my sister on the bus home, the anticipation of new experiences and resolving a crisis, enjoying the pureness of every moment, not thinking of what horrible things could happen to us soon...

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I’m feeling sad.
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don’t feel so bad!
